Salary range: $70,000.00 - $85, Að 2 weeks ago.
Duties & Responsibilities
Answer client calls and follow up with clients to collect and scan documents for petition preparation.
Communicate with Trustee.
Follow up with client regarding MMM responsibilities.
Prepare reports and provide updates to supervising attorney.
Complete schedules and amendments to schedules/forms.
Draft plans, amendments to plans, MMM motions and orders.
Assist with the submission of file on DMM.
Draft and file motions, notices, and other documents.
Prepare documentation and 341 sheet for electronic access.
Participate in mediator selection.
Address Trustee deficiencies prior, during, and after the confirmation period.
Bankruptcy Assistant
Research liens, creditors, properties, hidden assets, and other matters belonging to the client.
Confirm TBE and other joint ownership issues related to exemptions.
Organize documents.
Process mail.
Oversee certificates of service that are emergency matters.
Bankruptcy Accounting
Handle all bankruptcy accounting (filing fees, credit report fees, DMM Roses).
Review Trustee ledgers.
Assist accounting and office administrators with financial recording.
Mail out mediator payments when applicable.
Organize and handle all trustee funds.
Request checks from Trust as necessary.
Schedule & Calendar All Bankruptcy Events
Complete, organize, and review calendars.
Calendar any necessary responses, deadlines, hearings.
Experience & Job Requirements
Previous experience in Florida bankruptcy.
Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload.
