Position Summary Belmont Abbey College seeks an Associate Registrar.
Job Responsibilities The Associate Registrar is primarily responsible for maintaining student academic records; assigning classroom space; processing transcripts; creating and maintaining academic plans for degree programs; maintaining hard‑copy files; and updating forms. The Associate Registrar also serves as a de‑facto advisor when academic advisors are unavailable, manages a work‑study student, coordinates the physical execution of the graduation ceremony and rehearsal, and acts as the Registrar in the absence of the Registrar.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of relevant work experience in a Registrar’s Office.
Strong computing and analytic abilities, with proficiency in databases and Microsoft Excel.
Wholehearted appreciation of the College’s mission to educate students in the liberal arts and sciences so that in all things God may be glorified.
Consistent demonstration of skills, attitudes, and character that support our Catholic and Benedictine identity while fostering development of mind, body, and spirit.
Sincere appreciation and acceptance of our Catholic approach to education and understanding of Pope Saint John Paul II’s Ex Corde Ecclesiae.
