Principal Value Management Specialist (ID 90403020) – Wilmington, DE (Onsite)
Job Summary The Principal Value Management Specialist leads the development and implementation of portfolio operations, strategic investment, and governance best practices for Amtrak’s Digital Technology organization. The role coaches stakeholders and leadership on Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) principles, drives value optimization, and influences decision‑making across the enterprise.
Essential Functions
Identify key portfolio‑level business and engineering OKRs.
Initiate and advance LPM practices in the Digital Technology portfolio, leveraging proven approaches.
Support the Senior Director of Lean Portfolio Management in strategic governance of value‑management demand and roadmap.
Partner with portfolio leadership for roadmap and EPIC OKR adoption, and deliver a monthly value dashboard for value streams.
Implement Portfolio K pọnban ideation‑to‑implementation for portfolio‑level demand.
Identify and train VMO teams and best practices across DT portfolios.
Serve as a process expert in aligning Amtrak’s LPM lean governance with regulatory acceptance.
Lead development and refinement of enterprise‑wide value‑management frameworks, tools, and processes.
Conduct portfolio, project, and program analyses to maximize ROI and deliver value.
Provide strategic insights and advice to senior leadership on value opportunities and trade‑offs.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent application of value‑management practices.
Support complex business cases ويندوտ investment decisions with credible financial and strategic analysis.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance value‑management maturity.
Mentor and guide less experienced team members or stakeholders in value assessments.
Stay current on industry best practices, emerging trends, andCACHE new methodologies in value‑management.
Prepare executive‑level reports, dashboards, and presentations communitato insights and recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications preferred.
7+ years of experience in value‑management, financial analysis, or strategic consulting.
Proven success leading complex value or investment analysis at an enterprise level.
Strong proficiency with financial modeling, data visualization, and reporting tools.
Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
SAFE 6.0 LPM Certified.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Value Management, Project Management (PMP), or related fields.
Experience with portfolio management tools.
Industry‑specific knowledge relevant to the transportation sector.
Contributions to industry forums, publications, or thought leadership تصريح.

EBAS Certified.

Salary & Benefits The salary range is $124,600 – $161,352, based on factors such as education, experience, and certifications.
