Based on our internal equity review process, the starting salary for this position will be $100,642.03 yearly. To allow for growth and salary progression, the full yearly range is $100,642.03- $137,778.89 annually. Employees will have the opportunity to move through the posted range based on annual performance reviews and merit increases.

Position Information The Cybersecurity Systems Administrator will play a critical role in safeguarding and supporting our district's technology infrastructure. Working in close collaboration with district Information Technology Supervisors, this position will implement and administer district-wide cybersecurity initiatives. Key responsibilities include the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of security software and hardware, threat and vulnerability hunting, and helping develop security posture policies and procedures. The Cybersecurity Systems Administrator will also perform hands‑on configuration changes for application software, operating systems, and computer hardware in a complex, networked environment to eliminate potential vulnerabilities. The role requires a strong understanding of information security principles, system administration, and multi-platform technology integration. Additionally, the position involves leading complex IT and cybersecurity projects, mentoring systems administrators and other technical staff, and contributing to strategic planning efforts.
