Kappy Co. is looking for an Office Manager – Contractor to serve as the heartbeat of our space and the driving force for success in our day‑to‑day operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic retail environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and takes pride in creating an organized, welcoming, and efficient workplace.
The Office Manager will oversee daily office operations, support sales and inventory efforts, and provide leadership and oversight for guest relations. This is a hands‑on role with room to grow as the business scales.
What You’ll Do
Oversee the Kappy Co. space and ensure smooth day‑to‑day functionality
Create a welcoming environment while overseeing guest experience
Support retail sales efforts and provide excellent customer experience
Schedule and carry out studio tours and online purchase pickups
Maintain accurate inventory levels, facilitate inventory organization, and support reorders
Intake and tag new inventory before shelving
Support ecommerce efforts by adding merchandise to Shopify
Lead merchandising efforts to ensure the space is visually appealing and aligned with the brand
Assist with in‑house events as needed
Act as a go‑to problem solver for in‑office needs and operational questions
Availability & Schedule
Up to 20 hours per week, with ability to scale
Availability Monday through Sunday
Flexible hours, with frequent in‑office presence
Occasional nights and weekends required
What You Bring
Previous retail management experience strongly preferred
Sales experience is a major plus
Strong inventory management and merchandising skills highly desired
Organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of operations
Reliable, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
Compensation
$20 per hour
Potential bonus structure based on performance
This position is offered on a 1099 independent contractor basis. Contractors are not employees of the company and are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and benefits.
Payment is made upon receipt of an invoice at the end of the month.
This role is perfect for someone who wants to play a key role in shaping the daily rhythm of a growing brand while bringing structure, energy, and leadership to the Kappy Co. space.
