We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Transportation and Event Security Specialist to provide top‑tier transportation and security services for executives and high‑profile clients. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and comfortable travel while managing security protocols for events and personal engagements. This dual‑role position requires exceptional driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong background in security operations.

Role Overview As an Executive Driver and Event Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of GE Aerospace executives, clients, and attendees during high‑level events and meetings. This position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and may involve travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Route Planning: Utilize advanced route planning tactics, real‑time traffic data, and other sources to ensure safe and efficient travel routes for high‑level events and meetings.

Fleet Management: Support the Global Security Team in developing and implementing initiatives for vehicle fleet management, ensuring operational readiness and efficiency.

Confidentiality: Maintain a high level of discretion regarding VIP activities and conversations.

Security Assessments: Assist in conducting thorough security assessments for event venues and surrounding areas to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.

Security Protocols: Implement security plans and protocols to ensure the safety of attendees during events.

Collaboration: Work closely with event organizers, law enforcement, and other security personnel to manage security operations effectively.

Incident Response: Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.

Executive Support: Provide security and operational support for executives and clients during events, including risk mitigation and crisis response.

Visible Presence: Maintain a visible security presence to deter potential threats.

Post‑Event Reporting: Prepare post‑event security reports and provide recommendations for future improvements.

Ideal Candidate

Risk Assessment and Business Acumen: Ability to identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential threats and vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

Information & Analytical Thinking: Ability to collect, analyze and interpret information from various sources to anticipate and counteract potential security threats.

Adaptability and Resilience: Ability to adapt to changing security landscapes and recover quickly from setbacks.

Interpersonal Skills & Customer Service: Strong interpersonal abilities, effective networking and collaboration capabilities, cultural competence, high emotional intelligence.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey security policies, procedures, and incident reports.

Project Management: Ability to plan, execute, and oversee security projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience as an executive driver and/or in event security.

Current or previous law enforcement experience.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.

Proven experience in security operations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.

Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.

Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.

Ability to travel as needed for events.

Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to prioritize issues and create solutions.

Proven experience in event security, preferably in high‑profile environments.

Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Additional Information

Security Clearance: May be required based on event or client needs.

Work Schedule: Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Screening Requirements: Background check and drug screening required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to [insert weight], and work in various environmental conditions.

Work Environment: Includes travel, on‑site event support, and vehicle operations.
