Overview The Department of Neurological Surgery is seeking dynamic attending with solid clinical and academic experience in Pediatric Neurosurgery to join the faculty of Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Medical Staff of Montefiore Health System. The candidate will have clinically active practice and work with residents in the OR’s and inpatient units.
In addition to a competitive salary range of $500,000-$600,000, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including 403(b) with match, LTD, STD and paid malpractice. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an academically strong, growing and collaborative Division of Neurosurgery in a leading medical school.

Responsibilities
Staff neurosurgery clinics and/or faculty practice as assigned by Chair and Vice Chair of Neurosurgery.
Participate in the call schedule, along with clinical supervision of all Neurosurgeryanager and patients. Perform emergency and elective surgeries.
Teach residents,anel, fellows, students and others.
Seek out trials of new treatments for neurological disorders. Take a lead in participating in such trials, obtaining IRB approval and identifying potential patients for enrollment.
Perform research as appropriate based on background, experience and career goals.
Requirements The successful candidate must possess an MD and have completed a residency in neurological surgery. Candidates must be ABNS Board Eligible/Board Certified and be able to obtain an unrestricted New York Medical License.
Additional preferred qualifications:
Completed Fellowship in Functional neurosurgery.
Training and/or experience in Epilepsy and Movement Disorders.
