What You’ll Do:
Forge Connections: Proactively prospect and nurture new business relationships within the local community through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
Craft Winning Proposals: Create and present innovative advertising and marketing proposals that resonate with existing and potential clients.
Drive Results: Manage your sales funnel using our CRM software, striving to exceed key performance indicators and sales goals.
Collaborate Creatively: Contribute to advertising solutions by engaging with clients to understand their needs and aspirations.
Track Progress: Monitor your sales progress year-over-year, always aiming to surpass your previous achievements.
Engage & Network: Participate in weekly sales meetings, training sessions, and community events, even outside of regular business hours.
Stay Organized: Prioritize your workload to meet internal deadlines and ensure a smooth approval process.
Who You Are:
A bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Ideally you have at least two years of proven sales success under your belt.
Experience in strategic account management and digital execution? That’s a plus!
You excel at building relationships and have a results-driven mindset.
Your communication skills shine, and you have the confidence with decision-makers.
You’re highly organized and can juggle multiple priorities with ease.
Prior experience with a sales CRM such as Newspaper Manager, SalesForce, Workday or others is a plus.
What We Offer:
A competitive base salary of $50,000+, plus commission.
Comprehensive health care benefits, including medical and dental (the company pays 60% of the employees’ portion) and short/long-term disability.
401K with a 100% match of the first 3% and 50% of the next 2% you contribute each year.
Generous vacation and sick time off to recharge and refresh. We even close during Christmas and New Year’s each year resulting in additional time off with pay.
A personal day off each year to use whenever you’d like.
A 37.5-hour work week. Hello Friday afternoons off.
A mileage/gas stipend to help offset.
Company-sponsored social events to foster team spirit.
