Creating a Team Member experience where you belong no matter what race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status that makes you, you is a daily focus for us.**What We Offer:*** Competitive health & wellness benefits, 401(k) & company match* Paid Sick Days, Vacation, and Holidays, Paid Bereavement* Paid Pet Bereavement* Training & Development opportunities, career growth* Tuition Reimbursement* Team Member Hotel Rates, other discounts, perks and more**What We’re Looking For:**An experienced and passionate Recreation Manager to oversee our recreation and pool operations, lead a high-performing team, and ensure our guests enjoy safe, memorable, and engaging moments.**Who You Are:*** A strategic and hands-on leader with deep expertise in pool operations, lifeguard supervision, and guest recreation experiences.* Data-driven and safety-focused, able to analyze compliance reports, training logs, and guest feedback to drive continuous improvement.* Detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to assess performance using data and metrics.* A skilled communicator and presenter who can inspire and coach team members effectively.* Organized and efficient, capable of managing multiple priorities and maintaining compliance with safety standards.* Committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment.**What You Will Do:*** Lead the daily operations for Recreation, Fitness Center, and Safety Programs—ensuring alignment with brand standards and guest expectations.* Manage and monitor all pool and recreation activities, including guest programs, and towel service* Lead training of all recreation team members.* Foster internal awareness and promotion of recreation offerings to maximize guest engagement and revenue opportunities.* Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality across all recreational areas* Lead monthly staff meetings and training sessions to reinforce safety protocols and service standards.* Analyze trends and guest feedback to evolve our recreational offerings and enhance satisfaction.* Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance**Your Experience Includes:*** Minimum two year of recreation/aquatics supervisory experience* Must be able to swim and be comfortable in and around water for an entire shift* Must be able to complete and maintain current Lifeguard certification to include written and practical exams* Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays* Must complete monthly in-service training requirements* Must hold clean motor vehicle driving record upon request* High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate degree in a related field is preferred* Licensed Lifeguard Instructor certification preferred**Who You’ll Supervise:*** Recreation TeamHeadquartered in New York City, Loews Hotels & Co is rooted in deep heritage in the hotel industry and excellence in service.
