As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an education‑focused location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security‑related incidents and maintain a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence and commitment to customer service will support a welcoming atmosphere while you embody our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, problem‑solving, and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.
Document and report security‑related incidents, observations, and maintenance needs according to site protocols.
Assist with access control, monitoring entrances and exits to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.
Work collaboratively with site staff and/or local authorities when necessary, supporting a secure environment within the educational setting.

Minimum Requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
