Role As a Director of Finance, Healthcare & Life Sciences, you will partner with venture‑backed healthcare, health‑tech, and life sciences companies navigating reimbursement complexity, regulatory requirements, and capital‑intensive growth. Your role is to bring financial clarity, discipline, and strategic insight to mission‑driven organizations operating in regulated environments.

Your Typical, Atypical, Day

Lead financial reporting, forecasting, and board materials for healthcare clients

Build models around revenue mix, reimbursement timing, and cash‑flow predictability

Support fundraising and long‑range planning in capital‑intensive environments

Advise on staffing models, cost structures, and operational leverage

Prepare companies for audits, diligence, and compliance reviews

Mentor junior consultants supporting healthcare engagements

About You

8+ years in finance or consulting with healthcare, health‑tech, or life sciences experience

Familiarity with complex revenue and reimbursement models

Strong appreciation for controls, compliance, and financial rigor

Comfortable advising non‑financial leaders in high‑stakes environments

Detail‑oriented, structured, and trusted as a steady operator

Prior experience serving as a senior finance leader (Director, Head of Finance, or equivalent) in a high‑growth startup or venture‑backed company

Background supporting companies through rapid scaling, fundraising, or operational complexity

CPA credential strongly preferred; MBA or other advanced financial training a plus
