Position Summary/ Department Summary
Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Headache Program, Department of Anesthesia, Division of Pain Medicine
Key Responsibilities
Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary team to provide care to children, adolescents and young adults with headaches and migraines
Accountability for care of patients with headaches and migraines including Injections, follow up appointments and phone triage
Working 10-hour days Monday through Fridays.
Minimum Qualifications Education: A master’s degree in nursing
Experience
3-5 years’ experience in a pediatric setting, ideally with a pediatric intensive care background
Excellent critical thinking skills
Meticulous attention to detail; strong verbal and written communication skills, and superb collaborative skills
Licensure/ Certifications
A current MA NP license: Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner
BLS and PALS certification
Sign-on bonus of $5,000.00 for full-time (40 hours) APP hires (who have not worked at BCH in the past 2 years.)
