Position Summary With little or no assistance, a level three machinist will operate 3‑5 axis CNC machines, conventional mills, and lathes. They will produce complex aerospace parts and demonstrate advanced cross‑training flexibility such as first part run and full machine recovery. Level three machinists can complete complex setups on 3‑5 axis machines, apply advanced blueprint and GD&T reading of complex production inspection processes, edit programs and write simple tooling programs. Competencies include troubleshooting complex parts.

Program edits – F/S, adding passes
Basic programmer – simple tooling
First run proofing

CNC Machinist Related Info:
CNC Machines: Haas, Matsuura, DMG
CNC Machine Controls: Fanuc, Yasnac, Siemens
Leadership & Training
Positively models culture
Ability to train others
Quality

Level Of Education
High School Diploma or GED.
4-6 years of machining experience.
Work Schedule
Weekend Shift – Friday through Sunday 6:00 am to 6:30 pm.
