Job Summary The Krizaj Lab is hiring a
Research Coordinator . This position will be contracted initially for a
two month period
with the option to extend at the end of two months for additional time but is
subject to available funding.
Responsibilities Coordinate day-to-day research activities in adherence to Responsible Conduct for Research (RCR), study protocols, experimental work and applicable data analysis. Conduct complex work under minimal supervision, with wide latitude for independent judgment; participate in research study initiation, progress and close‑out. Conduct animal experiments, including but not limited to tonometry, electroretinography, and molecular analyses; analyze and present the data. Create and maintain tools and documentation to track study procedures, protocols and metrics, providing weekly updates to management.
The position requires close collaboration with other members of the team. Works under the direction of the Primary Investigator (PI) or Project Director (PD).
Minimum Qualifications EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT :
1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
Research Coordinator:
Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 6 years or a master’s (or equivalency) + 4 years of directly related work experience.
