Duties include answering telephone; radio communications; greeting customers; maintaining department's inventory for items stocked; processing payroll and invoices in SAP; operating computer for data entry, typing correspondence and reports such as accident and worker's compensation; and other duties as assigned by the County Maintenance Engineer. Position is subject to work nights and weekends as needed during inclement weather.**Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences**Salary Grade NC08

Salary Range $37,782 - $66,120**Management prefers applicants with the following:*** Customer service experience, including resolving customer issues* Experience with Microsoft Office using programs such as Access, Word, and Excel* Experience completing and/or maintaining records and reports* Experience interpreting and/or explaining policies, procedures, and laws* Experience with letter writing, using correct spelling, punctuation, and proofreading**Additional Expectations:**Applicant must have the ability to work independently; prioritize daily tasks; independently process technical information; follow oral and written instructions; operate copy machine, fax machine, multi-line telephone system, and scanner.
