Position Summary
Campus Recruiter
Location:
Alabama (statewide travel required) The Campus Recruiter acts as a brand ambassador for Baptist Health and Orlando Health, focusing on recruiting top nursing and allied health talent through campus engagement and community outreach. This role requires a highly skilled communicator who can represent our “Best Place to Work” culture and benefits to students, faculty, and executives. The recruiter will travel across Alabama to build relationships, attend events, and create innovative strategies to connect with talent. Key Responsibilities
Serve as a
brand ambassador , promoting Baptist Health and Orlando Health culture, mission, and benefits. Recruit for
nursing and allied health roles , ensuring alignment with organizational needs. Travel across Alabama to schools and campuses; maintain reliable transportation and comfort with long-distance travel. Attend
2 events per week
(career fairs, campus visits, hiring events); support
1 community event per quarter
and virtual events as needed. Participate in
monthly onsite department meetings , rotating facilities (Brookwood and Princeton). Build strong relationships with faculty, students, and community partners to create pipelines of qualified candidates. Deliver engaging presentations to diverse audiences, including executives and students. Demonstrate strong time management and professional boundaries while working independently as a self-starter. Flexibility for occasional weekend events (with advance notice). Maintain compliance with all organizational policies and procedures. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in recruiting, sales, customer service, or related field. Minimum 1 year of recruitment or talent acquisition experience; experience in
healthcare recruiting
preferred. Proven ability to source candidates using multiple platforms and build talent pipelines. Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills; ability to engage large groups and senior leaders. Highly extroverted and outgoing personality with strong organizational and time management skills. Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
