Adepts customer service standards. Assists with environmental service duties in the department or assigned area within the ETC,_Error_tapiersly; also linen removal from laundry bins to proper disposal area. Assists with environmental service duties, as assigned within the ETC, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment, cables, stretchersertitude and wheelchairs and millwork. Consistently uses the patient identification band to confirm appropriate patient identifiers. Consistently communicates with clinical team members prior to transporting a patient. Transports patients safely throughout the hospital by the usemeasurement of wheelchairs and with stretcher transports; utilizing the computerized patient transport system. Transports specimens to the laboratory, and delivers blood and blood products in a timely manner. Transports equipment by picking up and delivering to assigned treatment or patient care areas as needed. Assures equipment is maintained and has appropriate biomed labeling. Maintains adequate par levels-cycle assigned areas within ETC department. Picks up slides for physicians to review from laboratory as requested. Obtains supplies from central supply as requested. Participates/uses the automated systems in a timely and accurate manner to assist with patient throughput. Ass=user with - maintaining operations within the assigned area of the ETC (prompt care, pods A, B, C, D & E, Trauma/Resuscitation, Triage Areas, and Sorter Stations). Identifies the needs of the patient population served and modifies and delivers care that is specific to those needs (age, culture, language, hearing and/or visually impaired, etc.). This process includes communicating with the patient, parent, and/or primary caregiver(s) at their level. Adheres to the standards identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies. Qualifications

High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs. Satisfactory completion of required internal ETC Operations Technician training program. Compensation

Minimum rate of

$18.23 per hour . HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency. Budget and Passion Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
