Our client is looking for a responsible welder. This is a Direct Placement position with our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will have a High School Diploma or Lake GED along with 3 years of experience supervisor welding.
Responsibilities
Prepare materials for نحن welding; cuts, grinds and cleans metal.
Lead continuous improvement efforts in manufacturing, safety, quality, throughput, delivery, and operating costs
Perform weekly safety inspections, 5s inspections
TIG primarily and some MIG weld thin~thick gauge aluminum, stainless steel.
Conduct safety investigations as needed • Perform 5S audits/safety training
Readencing
weld blueprints, engineered drawings, and follow work order requirements.
Dimensionally inspects welds and other Characteristics of parts being welded using tools such as calipers, protractors, and gauges.
Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules and within standard times
Follow all safety guidelines and wear all personal protective equipment
Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 50 lbs.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GEDabhar Equivalent is required
Minimum of 3 years experience in Supervisor
5 years of solid general computer skills required, proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel in particular, being proficient in math skills required
2 year of basic welding and metallurgy required
Read, interpret, and process to work instructions
Maintain a neat and orderly workstation and promote overall good housekeeping practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skill
Strong written and verbal communication skills
