Overview What You’ll Do (Job Overview): As a
Processing Associate
at Vital Farms, you will work within our state-of-the-art manufacturing and production facility to wash, sort, and pack our pasture-raised eggs from our family farms. This role at Egg Central Station (ECS) is critical in bridging the gap from local family farms to grocery stores for our consumers. You’ll be on your feet during each twelve-hour shift, moving, lifting, loading and working with air-conditioned and sunlight-filled warehouse.
2-2-3 schedule: 2-week cycle
Week 1: 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on
Week 2: 2 days off / 2 days on / 3 days off
Shifts: 12 hour shifts
Night Crew - 6pm to 6am

What You’ll Do (Job Overview) — Role Responsibilities
Operate machines and robots to load, sort, and pack our pasture-raised eggs
Keep sanitary conditions for optimal food production
Ensure eggs meet the standards by carefully following our procedures and performing quality checks
Perform inspections on supplies and ready for use
Operate powered jacks to move supplies and product within the warehouse
Other duties as required; you’re flexible and you always find a way to make things work
What You Bring To The Table
Must be able to speak, read and write in English for safety and food quality reasons
1 year of work experience in a production and/or manufacturing environment
You’re able to frequently lift and/or move up to 60lbs
You’re committed to following all personal safety requirements rigorously
Be flexible and execute other duties and production tasks required
Basic math skills. Adding. Subtracting. Basic division.
