Position Summary The Quality Assurance Technician supports the Quality Assurance Department by ensuring all products meet company, customer, regulatory, and food safety requirements. This role performs quality checks on production lines and in the laboratory, maintains quality documentation, supports audits, and assists with laboratory systems, equipment, and administrativeذية functions. The technician works independently and collaboratively to uphold GMPs, SOPs, and continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities Quality & Laboratory Operations
Perform all pre‑start, in‑process, and finished goods quality checks to ensure product specifications are met.
Revision laboratory and line tests including Brix, CO₂, total acidity, seam checks, enamel tests, water checks, calibrations, and other required analyses.
Monitor product quality parameters continuously and stop production when specifications are not met.
Adjust quality parameters when appropriate to bring products back into specification.
Place product on hold, conduct verification testing, perform root cause analysis, and document corrective actions.
Verify and approve batches; communicate necessary adjustments to the Bulk Department.
Support daily lab functions including equipment calibration, sanitation inspections, wastewater monitoring, and recordkeeping.
Use sensory evaluation (sight, taste, smell) to assess product color, clarity, flavor, and detect off‑tastes.
Verify label artwork, graphics, color shades, and tint accuracy.
Production Line Support
Ensure production lines and laboratory are ready for daily startup.
Operate and troubleshoot cans, bottles, and case coding equipment.
Follow all company policies, GMPs, SOPs, and customer quality requirements to prevent product defects.
Communicate quality issues and coordinate activities with the QA Lead and production teams.
Quality Systems, Documentation & Compliance
ifle>Generate, revise, review, and maintain quality documentation including SOPs, protocols, reports, change controls, action plans, and procedures. Support document control programs and ensure accurate, timely filing of QA logs and records.
Assist in maintaining plant audit‑ready status for corporate, government, and third‑party audits.
Participate in food safety and quality audits, chemical training, and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure established Quality, Laboratory Testing, and Document Control KPIs are met.
Laboratory Systems & Administrative Support
Support administration, maintenance, and validation status of laboratory computer systems, software, and applications.
Assist with hardware/software upgrades and integration of third‑party applications.
Analyze laboratory needs and provide recommendations based on best industry practices.
Organize and maintain QA files, purge outdated records, and create new filing systems as needed.
Provide administrative support including data compilation, report preparation, calendar management, correspondence, andhasil data entry.
Conduct and document periodic inventory of laboratory and QA supplies.
Support the QA Manager and department as needed.
Continuous Improvement & Team Support
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and quality‑related projects.
Support the plant Quality Program through corrective action verification andruz efectivity checks.
Work collaboratively within a team environment while being self‑motivated and capable of independent work.
Perform additional duties as assigned by QA leadership.
