Location: 1685 Westbelt Dr, Columbus, OH 43228

Hours: Monday‑Friday 4:00 pm‑12:30 am and rotating weekends (12:00 pm‑8:00 pm)

Optum’s PharmScript division is one of the nation’s leading pharmacies, partnering with long‑term and post‑acute care facilities to supply medications to thousands of residents and patients. We’re looking for a Pharmacy Technician III to join our Floor Technician department. In this role, you’ll support the onsite pharmacist to prepare prescription orders for facilities, ensuring that pharmacy standards are maintained, policies are carried out and objectives are accomplished. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting and resolving problems, and is dedicated to helping customers. No task feels too small and no challenge is impossible. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Primary Responsibilities

Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff.

Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.

Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.

Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.

Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.

Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements.

Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.

Communicates with solid professional verbal and written communication skills.

Required Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in OH.

1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience.

Preferred Qualifications

National Pharmacy Technician Certification.

Pay & Benefits Pay is based on factors such as local labor markets, education, work experience and certifications. Hourly pay ranges from $17.98 to $32.12 per hour based on full‑time employment. Benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchases and 401(k) contribution (subject to eligibility). We comply with all minimum wage laws.
