Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting with at least 1 year of experience and a TX license or eligibility. Responsibilities Position is in a large acute care hospital with 450 beds and a census of approximately 360 Services provided across 7 floors including ortho, neuro, oncology, post-op, med surg, and ICU (medical, cardiac, surgical) Day shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Collaborative environment with 8-10 PTs and 6-8 PTAs daily, working alongside OT, ST, and case management Trauma level 3 hospital EPIC charting experience is preferred Position involves working closely within a multidisciplinary therapy team No travel pairs or groups accepted No more than 3 days of requested time off will be automatically approved and no time off permitted during the first week of orientation First-time travelers are considered for this position Scrub or dress code details are not specified Requirements Valid TX Physical Therapy license required (will accept pending license if applicable) Minimum of 1 year recent acute care PT experience Ability to work with a wide variety of patient populations including ortho, neuro, oncology, med surg, and ICU EPIC EMR experience preferred Former permanent staff must be gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Locals within 50 miles are not eligible Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
