Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 03/10/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with a current CA license and at least 1 year of experience for a weekday position in multiple care settings. Responsibilities Position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Work three days per week in Quincy, CA and two days per week in Greenville, CA Practice in acute, swing bed/skilled nursing, and/or outpatient care settings Rehabilitation therapy modalities 13-week contract assignment Must be able to manage patients with varying diagnoses and personalities Timely and accurate report writing and correspondence are required Detail oriented, compassionate, and adaptable to new treatment techniques Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task are essential RTO (Requested Time Off) is not approved unless specified in the offer Requirements Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy required Must hold a current and active California Physical Therapy License Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification approved by the AHA is required Must have passed the National Physical Therapist Examination (NPTE) Minimum of 1 year experience in acute, swing bed/skilled nursing, and/or outpatient settings Must be compliant with all state regulatory requirements Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Must be proficient in computer and software use for documentation Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
