Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 01/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of experience for a full-time travel assignment in a rehabilitation center. Responsibilities Position is in a rehabilitation center within the physical therapy department Work schedule is 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM 13-week contract assignment No local candidates permitted; 50-mile radius rule applies Physical Therapists are responsible for patient assessment, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy interventions Travelers are expected to integrate into a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team First-time travelers are considered based on required experience Candidates must be prepared to wear attire appropriate for a rehabilitation setting Requirements Active Physical Therapy license required if applicable At least 2 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist Must have 6 months of relevant experience within the last 6 months Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required Social Security Number (US only) and date of birth required for consideration Professional references required: two for Florida and Missouri, one for all other states No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
