Per Diem Physical Therapist - Samaritan Hospital, Troy, NY Are you looking for a flexible Per Diem Physical Therapy position with an outstanding healthcare organization? This could be your opportunity! Weekend availability is primarily needed.
What You'll Do
As a Physical Therapist, you will provide direct patient care and integrate all elements of patient/client management-including examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and interventions-to maximize functional outcomes. You'll document treatments and progress according to professional and organizational standards, and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team treating patients with conditions such as CVA, SCI, LE Amputation, Orthopedics, and Cardiopulmonary disorders.
Key Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive treatment programs based on patient history, condition, and functional status
Prioritize patient care needs and assess rehab requirements across the continuum of care
Provide timely recommendations for disposition, equipment, education, and treatment
Complete all documentation in compliance with professional, organizational, and regulatory standards
What You'll Need
Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy program (BS, MS, or Clinical Doctorate)
Current NYS Physical Therapy license and registration
Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Compensation
Per Diem Rate: $50/hour
Experience-based pay range for Full-Time&Part-Time: $37.60 - $47.60
(Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under FLSA will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.)
