Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 01/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting requiring strong evaluation and treatment experience and active state licensure in good standing. Responsibilities Outpatient physical therapy clinic setting Work with both physician-referred and direct access patients Day shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Supervise and collaborate with PT assistants and technicians Treat a range of cases, including injured workers and various rehabilitation needs Utilize exercise equipment and modalities present in the facility Responsibilities include patient evaluation, plan of care development, and supervision of assistants and technicians Required to communicate regularly with referring physicians and rehab nurses regarding patient progress Expected to aid with scheduling, referrals, and administrative duties as needed Participation in marketing, business development, and community events may be requested Professional conduct and teamwork are essential across patient, provider, and community interactions Requirements Active state PT license in good standing required (license required if applicable) Ability to perform evaluations, develop plans of care, and execute treatment Experience with injured worker rehabilitation and knowledge of ACOMP systems preferred Competence in performing Work Hardening, Functional Capacity, and ergonomic/job analysis evaluations Ability to maintain all licensure and compliance requirements Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
