Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 01/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with inpatient and outpatient adult rehab experience for a day shift position with no weekend or call requirements. Responsibilities Work in a mixed inpatient/TCU and outpatient rehab setting Primary caseload consists of adult inpatients with some outpatient adult and LTC, with potential for pediatric outpatients Day shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm No call or weekend shifts required EMR system used is Epic; Epic experience is preferred Must work the day before and after holidays as needed, and half-day for Christmas Eve if scheduled Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed; no time off within first 2 weeks Not open to local candidates within 25 or 50 miles of facility Former staff must be gone 9 months before returning as traveler Lab work required within 48 hours of signing contract Candidates are financially responsible for their own travel arrangements for fingerprinting Requirements Active OTR/L (Occupational Therapist Registered/Licensed) required Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience Experience with adult rehab caseload preferred Minnesota OT license in hand required if applicable Must complete in-person fingerprinting in Minnesota prior to start Medical or religious exemption forms required for vaccine exemptions Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
