Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with current WA license and recent skilled home health hospice experience for a day shift home health assignment. Responsibilities Work in a home health setting with an adult patient population Day shift position, Monday through Friday, no weekend or call requirements Typical caseload includes 4-6 patient visits per day, with 27-30 productivity points standard based on territory Patients are grouped by territory to minimize drive time, with occasional travel up to a 100-mile radius Charting in HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB), experience required Documentation tools provided and must be returned upon completion of assignment Mileage reimbursement offered at IRS standard rates Any color scrubs may be worn First-time travelers are accepted No weekend or on-call requirement Must submit requested time off (RTO) at time of application Former permanent employees must have at least 6 months separation and HR approval to return as a traveler Travel pairs are allowed, but each traveler will be assigned their own territory and must have their own transportation Free parking available Requirements Current WA Occupational Therapist license required NBCOT certification required Minimum 1 year of recent skilled hospice home health experience within the last 3 years (inpatient experience not accepted) OASIS experience required Current BCLS certification required Proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) preferred Active driver's license and personal transportation required Timely communication and documentation are mandatory Completion of Hospice/Home Health Checklist required License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
