Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Coverage Needed May 5, 2026 - July 31, 2026 Schedule: Full-time DAY shift (3-12s weekly), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM No OnCall Clinical Details Manage critically ill patients in a high acuity ICU setting Typical APP to patient ratio: 10-15 ICU patients per APP Collaborate with attending MDs for care plans EMR: Epic Conduct ongoing patient assessments and interventions Order entry and documentation using Cerner EMR Interpret diagnostic testing Communicate with ICU nursing staff Participate in multidisciplinary rounds each shift Perform invasive procedures: central line insertions (CVLs, vascaths, introducers) and arterial line insertions Requirements Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with valid national and state licensure MUST BE ACUTE CARE CERTIFIED if NP candidate Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in an ICU setting Proficiency with ICU procedures, specifically central and arterial line insertions Case logs will be requested during credentialing
