Richards Penn Bonner, L.L.P.
Us _
Richards Penn Bonner, L.L.P. is a Texas-based and nationwide law firm with its primary office in East Texas. We are trial lawyers at our core, representing clients in courtrooms across Texas and throughout the United States in significant personal injury cases. Our practice is focused primarily on plaintiff’s personal injury litigation, with select local family law and general civil litigation matters that require discretion, empathy, and precision.
While our roots are firmly planted in East Texas, our reach is not. We value strong advocacy, practical problem-solving, and lawyers who want to grow into confident, capable trial attorneys.
_Why East Texas and Why Us_
East Texas offers something that is increasingly rare: meaningful courtroom experience early in your career, strong professional relationships, fantastic judges and courthouse staff, and a quality of life that allows you to build a practice _and_ have a life.
You do not need to live in Jacksonville or Tyler to be successful in this role. But you will regularly appear in court/depositions throughout East Texas —including Rusk, Tyler, Athens, Palestine, Lufkin, Henderson, and Nacogdoches—and you will also have opportunities to work on and appear in cases across Texas and throughout the United States on our larger injury cases.
If you want real trial experience without being lost in a firm hierarchy—and you want your work to matter to your clients—let us know.

* Assist in personal injury, family law, and civil litigation matters * Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and similar * Collaborate closely with senior attorneys on case strategy * Represent clients in court and at depositions—early and often * Prepare cases for trial and handle all matters from intake through verdict * Immediately begin partnership track with mentorship to get you to partner level as soon as practical.
