Emergency Medicine Physician Onsite Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center Clarksburg, WVLocation: 1 Medical Center Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301Schedule: 24/7 Emergency Department coverage (day, evening, night shifts)Contract Type: Onsite, Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine PhysiciansAbout the Role:JR Enterprise is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide high-quality care to veterans in a state-of-the-art Emergency Department accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC). This role offers the opportunity to practice full-scope emergency medicine, including trauma, medical, and psychiatric emergencies, while following ACEP and AAEM guidelines.Key Responsibilities:Deliver direct patient care in the ED: triage, resuscitation, stabilization, diagnosis, and disposition.Perform minor and major procedures, including suturing, fracture reductions, central lines, intubation, chest tubes, and procedural sedation.Provide initial evaluation and emergent care across specialties: cardiovascular, respiratory, GI, endocrine, musculoskeletal, neuro, OB/GYN, ophthalmology, ENT, dermatology, and psychiatric emergencies.Stabilize and coordinate transfer for patients requiring higher-level care.Ensure accurate documentation in the VA electronic health record (CPRS) and maintain HIPAA compliance.Participate in staff meetings, quality improvement programs, and mandatory VA training.Qualifications:Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state, territory, or D.C.DEA registration and National Provider Identifier (NPI)Completion of required VA training: ACLS, BLS, EHR, infection control, and other mandatory coursesStrong clinical skills and technical proficiencyExcellent communication skills in EnglishU.S. citizenship or federal contracting eligibility complianceWhy Youll Love This Opportunity:Competitive physician compensationWork in a fully accredited, modern VA Emergency DepartmentProvide high-impact care to veterans with diverse acute and emergent needsFlexible scheduling with variety of shiftsSupportive team environment with a focus on clinical excellenceData Protection & Privacy: JR Enterprise, LLC collects personal information provided by applicants solely for recruitment purposes.
