Job Description Salary: $15-17/hour Location: District 308 Elementary Schools
Job Overview: The Kid's Connection leader is a part time position located at all District 308 elementary schools. The leader reports directly to the site supervisor. The leader is responsible for daily implementation of the program, assisting in scheduling activities and supervising children, within the guidelines of Kid's Connection goals and philosophy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Significant involvement in leading activities and interacting with children in the Kid's Connection - Program
Some involvement in planning, and organizing a multi-recreational program for grades K-5
Some involvement with staff, parents, school and park district personnel Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 16 years of age
Special knowledge of children's physical, emotional, and developmental patterns
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances
Understand and exhibit behavior consistent with stated values of the Park District

Hours: Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 8:45am
