We are a high volume veterinary practice providing high-quality medical care for *dogs and cats* and are currently seeking a *Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)* to join our team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and skilled in clinical patient care, with a strong commitment to teamwork and client education.
*Responsibilities*
* Assist veterinarians during exams, diagnostics, and surgical procedures * Provide high-quality nursing care, including anesthesia monitoring and recovery * Collect and prepare laboratory samples * Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments * Take and process radiographs * Accurately maintain medical records * Educate clients on preventative care, medications, and post-treatment instructions * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe hospital environment
*Schedule*
* Flexible scheduling available * Must be available to work weekends and holidays
*Qualifications*
* Active *Licensed Veterinary Technician* credential in Nevada is required * Graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program * Strong technical and animal-handling skills * Excellent communication and client service skills * Ability to work well in a team environment * Ability to lift and restrain animals as needed
