Key responsibilities include developing and executing a comprehensive 5-year strategic plan to double the organization's impact and revenue, positioning the company as a leading authority on science-based plastic pollution solutions, and building cross-sector alliances to advance systemic change. The role also involves championing scientific integrity, guiding advocacy strategy, and overseeing financial and operational management to ensure the organization's fiscal health and integrity.
Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have at least 10 years' progressive leadership experience in the conservation or environmental field, with a strong preference for those with a scientific background or training. The ideal candidate will have a history of effective public speaking, proven fundraising success, and the ability to forge partnerships across diverse stakeholder groups.
