Technical Product Manager

who can bridge the gap between product vision and technical execution. This role requires someone with a strong technical foundation—particularly in cloud-based services—and a deep understanding of data flows, user workflows, and how these intersect to create scalable, intuitive products. You will work cross-functionally to translate user needs into detailed product requirements, working closely with engineers to deliver robust and elegant solutions. Your ability to think like a user while speaking the language of developers will be key to your success. RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with users, designers, and engineers to define product functionality and prioritize features based on business goals and technical feasibility Create clear, actionable Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and other specifications that guide engineering execution Map and document user workflows, data flows, and system dependencies to ensure a full-stack understanding of product behavior Translate complex technical concepts into intuitive product experiences and vice versa Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to release—ensuring clarity, alignment, and delivery on scope on the features you own Define and track success metrics, gathering feedback and iterating quickly to improve outcomes Coordinate cross-functional input and drive consensus among engineering, design, operations, and stakeholders Provide transparent, concise program updates to executives and partners with clarity and technical precision through documentation, dashboards, and presentations. QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of product management or technical product ownership experience Proven experience working with cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, or SaaS platforms Strong understanding of data pipelines, API design, and backend/frontend integration points Ability to visualize and communicate complex data and user workflows Experience writing technical documentation, PRDs, or system specifications Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices Technical background (e.g., degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant work experience) PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Hands-on experience with tools like AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, or similar cloud platforms Experience in developer tools, data products, or infrastructure-heavy platforms Background in UX, systems engineering, or technical program management Experience working on space-related programs (e.g., SDA, satellite operations, RPO training, or electronic warfare) Knowledge of modeling and simulation (M&S) systems and training architectures (e.g., HLA, DIS, or LVC) Familiarity with Human Factors, accessibility in mission-critical environments, and MIL-STD design principles Active or eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance COMPENSATION Washington D.C. Base Salary:

$130,000-$175,000 Equity + Benefits
