As a hostess at MAGO, you will be the vibrant face of our establishment, ensuring every guest is welcomed into an unforgettable dining experience. This role demands reliability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while embodying our brand's spirit. You will also oversee the training and ongoing development of the hostess team to maintain our exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Training and Standards:

Conduct continuous training for all host staff, focusing on in-person greetings, phone etiquette, and effective floor management to uphold MAGO’s high service standards. Guest Reception:

Greet and welcome guests warmly as they arrive, creating a friendly first impression that captures the essence of MAGO. Table Management:

Efficiently manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while ensuring a comfortable dining experience for all guests. Guest Interaction:

Engage with guests, addressing inquiries about the menu and restaurant, resolving concerns, and ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously. Brand Representation:

Maintain a professional appearance that reflects MAGO’s image, adhering to uniform and grooming standards. Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and deliver a seamless dining experience. Crisis Management:

Handle guest complaints with professionalism, actively seeking solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. Cleanliness and Organization:

Ensure the host area is always clean and organized, ready to welcome incoming guests.

Requirements:

Qualifications: Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while remaining composed under pressure. Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail. A positive attitude and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
