Job Summary: Vista Medical Center is seeking a dedicated
Patient Care Technician (PCT)
to join our
Medical/Surgical Department . As a PCT, you will provide direct patient care and support nursing staff in delivering high-quality care to our patients. This role is ideal for compassionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment and are committed to patient well-being. Key Responsibilities: Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility. Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and report any changes to nursing staff. Provide basic wound care and assist with medical procedures as directed. Ensure patient comfort and safety by responding to call lights and patient needs promptly. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized patient environment. Transport patients and specimens within the hospital as needed. Collaborate with nurses and healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire. Previous hospital or clinical experience preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and patient service skills.
