Packer
Tifton, GA | Temp-to-perm | $10.50 - $11.00 / hour
We are searching for a
Packer
to ensure smooth and proper boxing and transportation preparation of our product. You will be supporting the overall operations of the Tifton plant for a company known as a leading manufacturer and distributor of crop protection solutions in the U.S. This includes performing your duties in a plant environment. You will be exposed to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, or chemicals.
Responsibilities
Prepare and set up packaging equipment and all materials for packaging line Complete reporting as necessary including recording Lot Numbers Operate ad troubleshoot various packaging fillers and bag, cap, and box sealers Stack product on pallets based on required standards Operate stretch wrap equipment Operate a forklift Provide training and direction to Packing Operators on 1+ packaging lines simultaneously Aid other employees and the manager in additional duties Experience and Education
High School Diploma or GED (Preferred) 1 year of packaging experience Requirements
Lift and move up to 50lbs Stand for long periods of time Be able to see and hear well Wear and maintain proper PPE including steel toed boots Work in extreme temperatures Be able to work in a fast paced environment Have good reading and writing skills in English Work well with others and individually Be able to work overtime when required, including weekends and holidays Organization and attention to detail Location:

Pay:
$10.50 - $11.00 / Hourly
