Get to Know Your Team:  

  • Lovelace Westside Hospital provides care to Albuquerque’s Westside and Rio Rancho, including a 24-hour emergency department and a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical capabilities such as Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), bariatric, and orthopedic service lines.
Responsibilities:
  • Performs routine diagnostic imaging procedures in support of the assigned area and as requested by a licensed medical provider.
  • Responsible for adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety.
  • Provide clerical support for the assigned department to include, but not limited to: filing, maintaining records, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and entering data into the computer.
Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences or Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Program
  • ARRT or registry eligible *Employees employed in or prior to 1972 and licensed by the State of NM are considered grandfathered and exempt from ARRT requirements
  • Radiologic Technologist License issued by the State of NM
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Radiation Safety procedures

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree
  • One (1) year of related experience in a hospital setting
