Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Travel Surgical Technologist to support a high-acuity Pediatric Operating Room. This role requires strong pediatric OR experience and the ability to function independently as a scrub tech in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities Scrub for pediatric surgical procedures across multiple specialties Maintain sterile technique and assist surgeons during procedures Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and supplies Support emergency and on-call surgical cases Document care using the EMR system

Schedule Details Monday–Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Thursday: Night Shift 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Additional schedule option: Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Thursdays: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM Rotational day off No block scheduling and no set schedule
On-Call Requirements On-call required per unit guidelines Approximately 4–6 call shifts per 6-week schedule Includes weekday, weekend, and holiday calls Call coverage applies during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays when ORs are closed On-call supports emergency surgical cases only
Required Qualifications Current Pediatric OR experience – REQUIRED 4–5+ years of surgical technologist experience Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program BLS certification required Certification as a Surgical Technologist is not required Experience working as a scrub tech EMR experience preferred (Epic exposure helpful)
