SUD Program Manager
Location:
Los Angeles, CA Schedule:
Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Work Setting:
100% On-Site | Outpatient (No Field Work)
About the Role We are seeking an experienced
SUD Program Manager
to support our Program Director in overseeing outpatient and intensive outpatient substance use treatment programs. This leadership role blends program operations, staff supervision, compliance oversight, financial management, and client care to ensure high-quality, compliant services.
Key Responsibilities Program Leadership Oversee daily program operations and ensure service excellence Supervise and support clinical and support staff Coordinate with referral sources and partner agencies Ensure program goals and outcomes are met
Compliance & Reporting Maintain compliance with state and county regulations Oversee audits, reporting, and documentation requirements Maintain DMC and AOD certifications
Financial Oversight Monitor revenue cycle and billing compliance Review financial reports and support program sustainability
Staff Development Recruit, train, and mentor staff Provide ongoing coaching and professional development
Client Care Oversee assessments, treatment planning, counseling, and drug testing Monitor client progress and outcomes Facilitate family education and support programs
Documentation Ensure timely and accurate case notes and treatment records Maintain documentation standards for regulatory bodies
Community Relations Build partnerships with DCFS, probation/parole, courts, and community organizations Lead outreach, education, and community engagement initiatives
Qualifications Certified SUD Counselor with
Clinical Supervision certification Minimum
5 years of experience
in substance use recovery, prevention, and program management Strong knowledge of recovery models (12-step), SAPC billing, and LA County regulations Proven leadership and compliance experience Strong case management and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to work independently and collaboratively
