Otolaryngologist Qualifications
Active New York medical license Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology (ENT Physician) Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Otolaryngology/ENT Skilled in managing both adult and pediatric ENT cases Proficient in emergent ENT procedures Fellowship training not required Temporary privileges available for expedited onboarding ENT Physician Responsibilities
Provide consults for in-house patients, including floors and ED post-op follow-ups Respond to call-backs and provide scheduled coverage Perform a full range of ENT procedures, including:
Epistaxis control Abscess drainage Facial trauma repair Tonsillectomy/Adenoidectomy Tracheostomy Sinus surgery Head & Neck procedures
Take patients to the OR for emergent ENT cases Collaborate with hospital staff, including anesthesia (available 24/7) and surgical PA support overnight Schedule OR cases as needed (shared responsibility with hospital) Participate in ED consults as required
