Hematology-Oncology physician employment in New York : A leading hospital in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hematologist/Oncologist to join its growing Oncology team. Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology careDevelop individualized treatment plans for patients with cancer and blood disordersParticipate in tumor board conferences, care coordination meetings, and quality improvement initiativesEngage in clinical documentation and treatment planning using the hospital's EMR system (EPIC)Collaborate with other specialists to ensure continuity of careParticipate in clinical trials or academic researchProvide education to patients, families, and staff regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and disease managementQualifications:Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institutionCompletion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Hematology and/or OncologyBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and/or Medical OncologyLicensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of New YorkStrong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsCommitment to serving a diverse patient population in a community-focused environment
