APP creates progress and consult notes; surgeon must add their own note and cosignWeekend Coverage:Approximately 1 weekend per monthWeekend duty includes: rounding with PA, all new consults, emergent OR cases onlyNight Call Structure:Weekday call: 4:30pm
7:00amWeekend call: Friday 4:30pm
Monday 7:00am (covered by weekend surgeon)Surgical PA is first call for all floor patientsCVICU has a CTS APP most nights and will escalate to surgeon if neededER calls surgeon directly if neededMondayThursday call rotated evenly among surgeonsRequirements:Board Certified
