Summary:

The Mechanical Drafter will produce high quality engineering drawings for complex assemblies requiring various machining and joining techniques in support of the development of cutting‑edge laser and electro‑optical systems. Security Clearance

Collaborate with engineers to translate CAD models from a conceptual design phase into production‑ready documents. Generate and revise detailed engineering drawings from CAD models in SolidWorks. Apply GD&T principles using ASME Y14.5 standards. Review drawings for dimensional accuracy, completeness and compliance with ASME standards. Prepare and update BOMs with part numbers and required quantities. Utilize PDM to maintain configuration control of models and drawings for development and release. Required Experience / Capability

Commitment to Excellence. Attention to Detail. Pride in Workmanship. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience generating and reviewing engineering drawings for large, complex structures. Capability to use project management tools such as Jira, GITlabs, or MS Projects, to track and document assigned tasks. Experience working in DOD related industries: Directed Energy, Aerospace, Naval, or Land Systems. Experience coordinating with vendors and/or tooling experts to evaluate manufacturability and tolerancing constraints. Benefits Summary
