Empty, fill, sort, organize and wrap/unwrap product Properly build displays, foldingcartonsand palletized products Sort damaged products Safelyoperatevarious equipment and tools Correctlyutilizea warehouse management system andmaintainappropriate workdocuments Maintaincleanlinessand order of work areas What you need to succeed atGXO:
At a minimum,you’llneed: The abilityto read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operatinginstructionsand procedure documents Basic math skills Knowledge of warehouse and packaging operations Availability to work a flexible schedule, withpossible overtimewhen needed It’dbe great if you also have:
High school diploma or equivalent Material handling certification 1 year of experience in warehouse and/or packaging operations Theabilityto perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and work with precise standards of accuracy and within time limits The knowledge to rate information using standards that can be measured or checked Solidverbal and written communication skills This job requires the ability to:
Lift objects of various shapes,sizesand weights; carry, lift, push and pull up to 70lbs. Stand, sit or walk forlong periodsof time Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and/or pull Handle or manage tools or equipment Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments We engineer faster, smarter, leanersupply chains.
