Job Responsibilities
Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
Correctly interpret work orders.
Work in a team environment, i.e., follow instructions and assist others as needed.
Perform basic facility maintenance tasks.
Perform basic equipment maintenance tasks.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical processes.
Ability to determine repairs needed for future corrective maintenance work.
Perform basic non-load bearing welds using MIG or stick welding.
Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Perform daily housekeeping/6S activities as required.
Perform other duties as requested by lead, supervisor or manager.
Required Qualifications
MUST have a valid US Passport or birth certification to be cleared.
High school diploma or GED required.
3 to 6 years of manufacturing experience.
Strong welding experience – MIG, STICK/Arc.
Electrical/Wiring experience.
Prior military experience or technical certification/degree required.
Constant exposure to indoor/outdoor manufacturing environment.
Constant exposure to moderate noise.
Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes, odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces.
Must be able to work any shift including overtime, weekends and holidays if scheduled.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist and work at heights on an intermittent basis for up to twelve (12) hours.
Requires hand manipulation including simple grasping, pushing and pulling of materials.
Must be able to safely operate an overhead crane, boom lift and manlift.
Must be able to havia reach and work above and below shoulder level.
Must be able to work with and around forklifts and hazardous machinery.
Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.
Visual acuity skill to detect any flaws in the parts being inspected.
