Gift Shop Clerk
provides information, assistance and service to customers at MetroLINK's transfer terminal, Centre Station in downtown Moline. This position will work weekends (Saturday and Sunday), approximately 15 hours per week.
Essential Duties:
Sells tickets, passes and other retail items for purchase found in MetroLINK's Metro Stop.
Answers inquiries in regards to MetroLINK's transportation services, routes, schedules, stop locations, trip planning, fares and other general customer service inquiries.
Operates computer terminal and other standard office equipment required to communicate and assist passengers and disburse tickets/passes.
Restocks merchandise, food products, condiments and utensils; cleans work areas.
Assists in accounting for inventory as assigned.
Counts, records, and processes cash for deposit.
Demonstrates courteous, cooperative behavior when interacting with the general public and staff.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
One year of customer service experience
Knowledge & Skills:
Excellent customer service
Cash register/Cash handing skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
