We are seeking an experienced

Coupa Lead Architect

to design, implement, and lead end-to-end Coupa solutions across Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. The ideal candidate will act as the technical and functional design authority, ensuring seamless integration with ERP systems and alignment with enterprise business processes.

Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & Leadership

Lead the

design and implementation of Coupa solutions

across P2P, Sourcing, Contract Management, Invoicing, and Expenses.

Act as the

overall architecture owner , ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with best practices.

Provide architectural guidance to functional and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

End-to-End Coupa Implementation

Drive

end-to-end Coupa implementations , including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Define and govern configuration standards, data models, and integration patterns.

Ensure adherence to Coupa implementation methodology and Clean Core ERP principles.

ERP & System Integrations

Design and oversee

seamless integration between Coupa and ERP systems

(SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, etc.).

Lead integrations using

Coupa APIs, cXML, Flat Files, Middleware

(MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, SAP CPI, Informatica).

Ensure robust error handling, monitoring, and reconciliation processes.

Business Process Alignment

Collaborate with business stakeholders to align Coupa solutions with

Procure-to-Pay, Source-to-Contract, and Financial processes .

Translate business requirements into scalable Coupa configurations and technical designs.

Optimize procurement, invoicing, and expense processes through automation and best practices.

Testing, Deployment & Governance

Oversee

system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT) , and production deployments.

Support data migration, cutover planning, and go-live readiness.

Establish governance, security roles, approval workflows, and compliance controls.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

Act as the primary

Coupa solution advisor

for business and IT leadership.

Coordinate with Coupa support, third-party vendors, and system integrators.

Mentor and guide junior consultants and developers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8 years of experience in

Coupa implementation and architecture

Strong expertise in

Coupa P2P, Sourcing, Contracts, Invoicing, and Expenses

Proven experience leading

end-to-end Coupa implementations

Strong integration experience with

ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite)

Hands-on experience with

Coupa APIs, cXML, Web Services, and Middleware tools

Deep understanding of

Procure-to-Pay and Source-to-Pay business processes

Experience in configuration, testing, deployment, and production support

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Coupa Certified Implementation Professional

Experience with global, multi-entity, multi-currency implementations

Exposure to compliance frameworks (SOX, audit controls)

Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models
