Position Overview Stand-By Personnel is seeking dependable and hardworking candidates for an Order Picker / Packer role within a fast-paced distribution center in Oklahoma City. This position focuses on accurately packaging merchandise for shipment, ensuring orders are packed safely, correctly, and in compliance with company standards.
The Order Picker / Packer plays a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations and meeting productivity and accuracy goals.
Key Responsibilities
Pack merchandise into boxes or containers for shipment to retail locations
Verify item numbers, quantities, and labels for accuracy
Inspect merchandise for damage or quality issues
Use RF scanners or tracking systems when applicable
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Meet established productivity and accuracy goals
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily department goals
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience (3 years preferred)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform squatting, standing, walking, reaching, and sitting
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills required
Willingness to perform various warehouse functions
Ability to follow procedures and best practices
High School Diploma or equivalent
